We are very happy about new vendors on faircustomer. But please note, that the articles offered on the website have to be in Switzerland. They cannot be shipped to Switzerland individually, because in that case the customer would have to bear all hassle with customs etc. which can be very costly due to the individual handling fee.

Looking for a partner who could help you to import larger quantities to Switzerland? Please read more

Your products are in Switzerland? Read what Faircustomer has to offer:

The marketplace with a social impact

 How it works:

►     No fees until an article is sold

►     no long term commitment                              ►     also for small quantities

►     combined marketing and                                ►     cross-selling opportunities

►     we help to solve problems around administration,

        shipping and payment within Switzerland

Merchants of fair trade articles or charitable organisations (e.g. sheltered workshops) offer their goods on the marketplace Faircustomer.ch. They set the prices and conclude the contract with the customer. To make shopping as easy as possible there is only one single order even if the articles come from different vendors. Faircustomer sends out one bill, collects the payment and transfers the money to the vendor. Merchants from within Switzerland ship their items directly, for merchants from other countries we offer a partnership with a Swiss based logistic partner (this is also a sheltered workshop).

Who can sell:

  • Importers of fair trade goods who comply to the principles of the Swiss Fair Trade Forum (www.swissfairtrade.ch/grundsaetze.php) or members of IFAT,
  • Certain social entrepreneurs, whose work is aimed at abolishing or easing social problems,
  • European charitable organisations (e.g. sheltered workshops) who produce their goods themselves

Faircustomer´s reputation is only as good as the reputation of every single merchant on the platform. Therefore users are asked to report misuse or doubtful behaviour. Merchants or products can be excluded from the platform at short notice.

What you have to do:

Please contact us: We will discuss with you which products might sell well on the internet and the quantity you want to start with (this might even be a single one!). Then we ask you to ship the items to a logistic partner in Switzerland and to register the article on our webside. As soon as the article arrived in Switzerland we list it on the webside and are thus able to guarantee short term delivery and to save costs on custom regulations.

Registering will be easy, we will not only help with technical support but also with help to organise the translation into German. We ask you to provide the description and pictures of the article. To show the story behind the product, we need your story and as well pictures and some informations about the producer. You can even upload a small video showing the people behind your item.

The rest is our business: we offer the article on the marketplace, inform you of an order, pass on the shipment information to you and the logistic partner, send the invoice and collect the money. You have  a 24/7 access to your account, see how many articles are left and you can withdraw an article from the marketplace with a mouseclick.

The costs:

It is free of charge to offer an article on Faircustomer.ch. Only if you actually sell a product we ask you for a fee of 15 % .

If you are based outside Switzerland you carry the costs of shipping your products to Switzerland, the customs and the costs for the service of the logistic partner (storing, handling and managing returned articles).
